Overview

ZIPIAS is not a conventional ERP system. It is designed to combine and process information from a variety of different systems. For the purposes of our client, health.On Ventures GmbH, we devised a custom end-to-end solution, which entails more functionalities and customization in a niche sector.

Challenges

As an ERP system, ZIPIAS required investments in data infrastructure, interface connectivity and customization via scripting. Additionally, we encountered a multitude of functional challenges, here are a few examples:

Importing orders in the background from multiple systems

Fulfill VAT requirements across the EU and worldwide
Processing and matching payments from German and Swiss banks, PayPal, Stripe, eBay Payments, Amazon and more
Synchronizing an advanced product database
Maintaining a consistent customer database and providing sales analytics
Generating high quality invoices and other documents, enable easy design customization
Tackle changing shipping rates from Deutsche Post and DHL

We applied a variety of open-source and proprietary technologies create an end-to-end software distribution.
We created a highly customizable and modular system architecture with a state-of-the-art tool stack, suitable for ERP applications.
We implemented our business logic atop the software platform to ensure quality and consistent user experience.
